Final oilpaintings – 2010
The final year of Godon’s life was overshadowed by deterioating health, but he continued to paint large oilpaintings all through 2010. In February 2011 however he suffered several heath failures and had to give up working standing. The remaining part of his life he worked sitting at his desk on drawings, watercolours and inks.
